Off-spinner Saeed Ajmal and left-arm pacer Sohail Tanvir experience that India will be the biggest threat
for all teams counting Pakistan in the upcoming World Cup.
"I think India, Australia and South Africa can pose big threat as they have very physically powerful squads for the tournament," Ajmal told Pakistan's previous captain and now well-known commentator Ramiz Raja on a television show.
Ajmal said expectantly if Pakistan managed to get from side to side to the knockout stages it would have to contend with India in the chomp stage of the event.
"Matches against India are always played with additional hype and strength and if such a match up takes place in the World Cup at any phase it would be great for the sport," the offie confirmed.
He also feels that he has been in the form of his life and would create an collision in the World Cup in which the pitches are predictable to help the sluggish bowlers.
"I want to approach out of the World Cup with substantial performance and with people saying Saeed bowled well for the team," he said.
His colleague Tanvir said, "Together India and Sri Lanka have strong one-day combination and both can pose a face to any team in the competition and in the knockout stage," he said.
"I am positive our team can execute well in the tournament and I see India or Sri Lanka as our main intimidation in the concluding stages of the occasion," Tanvir said.
The all-rounder who has complete a comeback to the national team after remaining out of achievement for almost a year due to a major knee process ruled out England as a major candidate for the title in spite of their recent achievement in the Ashes and after winning the ICC World Twenty20.
Together also felt that the position of the captain and coach was vital in receiving the best presentation not in of their players.
"The captain and coach can perform a lot to raise a player if he is leaving through a bad patch. A captain must back his player and tell him "I am on familiar terms with you can deliver for me,"" Ajmal said.
