Misbah-ul-Haq scored a gleaming winning 93 off 91 balls to lead Pakistan to a slight two-wicket win over
Hosts New Zealand in the fourth ODI by the side of Napier on Tuesday.
Among this win Pakistan leads the six-match series 2-1.
New Zealand posted 262 for 7 in its 50 overs after opting to bat first. In its chase, Pakistan kept down
Wickets at usual intervals previous to Misbah held his anxiety to win the contest for Pakistan in 49 overs.
Earlier, James Franklin continued a fair run of form with a third half century in four one-day international
Innings to direct New Zealand to 262 for seven.
The left-hander, who had scores of 72 not out, 98 not out and 17 not out in his preceding three innings in India last December, top-scored with 62 to help take into custody New Zealand's mid-innings slump at McLean Park.
The hosts had romped to 40 lacking loss but lost three wickets for four runs and then drooping to 79 for
Five previous to Franklin's 62-run partnership with Brendon McCullum (37) and a stand of 64 runs with
Nathan McCullum (53 not out) detained the slide.
Franklin was only brought into the face after Jesse Ryder, who injured a finger while playing for
